Gmail Tightens email compliance Enforcement:
What Senders Must Know by November 2025

Starting November 2025Gmail will ramp up enforcement on non-compliant email traffic. Messages that don’t fully meet Gmail’s sender requirements risk temporary or permanent rejections — effectively blocking your emails from reaching inboxes.

This move follows Gmail’s earlier authentication mandates (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and aims to further reduce spam and abuse. Google’s focus is now on strict compliance, consistent reputation, and transparent unsubscribe practices.

To maintain high deliverability and protect your sender reputation, it’s essential to review your email setup now. Here is what is required:

SPF, DKIM & DMARC: These email authentication protocols are no longer optional for high-volume domains they are mandatory.

One-Click Unsubscribe: A clear and simple way to opt out is now expected in every email.

Domain Alignment: Your “From” address must align with your authenticated sending domain.

List Hygiene & Bounce Management: Clean email lists and low bounce rates are more important than ever.

Transparent Sending Practices: No spoofing, no misleading headers, just honest, permission-based marketing.

At mySMTP and SMTP.dk, we are committed to helping you adapt. Whether you are sending 500 or 1.000.000 emails a day, these changes affect your deliverability and your results.

We expect the MAGY Family (Microsoft, Apple, Gmail, Yahoo) to be on the same level of compliance enforcement within the next 6 months.
