Configuration of Outlook 2013 - 2016
Step 1Click "More Options" and then "Account Settings"
Step 2Click "New" and then add your email address
Step 3Click "Edit ..." and enter "mysmtp.com" in the "Outgoing Server (SMTP)"
Step 4Click on "Internet mail", then "Outgoing Server" and
tick "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication". Select "Log on using".
Enter your email address from the setup mail in the "Username" and password from the setup mail in the "Password" and tick "Remember password".
Press “OK” to save
Step 5Select the "Advanced" tab and type "587" in the "Outgoing Server (SMTP) Port" field
Step 6Choose “Edit...” again.
and then "Test Account Settings" to test whether you can send emails with the new setup.
Configuration of Outlook 2010
Step 1Click on "Information" and then "Account Settings"
Step 2Click "Edit ..." and then enter your email address
Step 3Enter "mysmtp.com" in the "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" field.
Next, select "More options ..."
Step 4Enter the email address from the setup mail in the "Username" field and password from the setup mail in the "Password".
Step 5Select "Advanced" and enter "587" in the "Outgoing Server (SMTP)"
Step 6Click "Edit ..." again and then "Test Account Settings ..." to test the account
Configuration of Outlook 2007
Step 1Click "Tools" and then "Email Accounts"
Step 2Click "View or change existing e-mail accounts" and then "Next"
Step 3Click the email address and then "Change"
Step 4Enter "mysmtp.com" in the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)" field and then "More Settings ..."
Step 5Under "Outgoing Server" select "Log on Using 'and enter the email address from the setup mail in the "User Name" field and
the password from the setup mail in the "Password" field
Step 6Select "Advanced" and then enter "587" in the "Outgoing server (SMTP)" field
Configuration of Windows Live Mail 2011
Step 1Click “Accounts”
Step 2Right-click "SMTP" and then select "Properties"
Step 3Click on the "Servers" and enter "mysmtp.com" in the "Outgoing mail (SMTP)".
Tick "My server requires authentication". Then click "Settings ..."
Step 4Click "Log on Using 'and enter the email address from the setup mail in the "Account name" field and the password from the setup mail in the "Password" field
Choose “OK”
Step 5Select "Advanced" and enter "587" in the "Outgoing mail (SMTP)".
Select "OK" to save and you should now be able to send emails.
Configuration of IPhone
Step 1Choose "Settings" and then "Mail"
Step 2Click on "Accounts"
Step 3Choose the account you want to change
Step 4Select the server under "Primary Server"
Step 5Enter “mysmtp.com” in “Host name” and e-mail address from setup mail in "Username"
Password from Setup mail is entered in "Password".
In the "Server Port" field input "587".
Then choose "Authentication"
Step 6Choose "Password"
Configuration of Ipad
Step 1Choose "Settings" and then "Mail"
Step 2Click on "Accounts"
Step 3Choose the account you want to change
Step 4Select the server under "Primary Server"

Enter "mysmtp.com" in the "Outgoing mail (SMTP)". field

Step 1Open Eudora OSE
Step 2Right-click on your email account and select “Settings...”
Step 3Click on the "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" and select “Edit...”

Enable “Use name and password”

“Connection security” is set to “None”
Step 5When the first email is sent with the new SMTP server enter password from setup email

In “SMTP server” input “mysmtp.com”
Enable “Allow authentication”, “Immediate send”, “Send on check” and “Use submission port (587)”
Configuration of Mozilla Thunderbird
Step 1Click on the Settings icon and then "Account Settings"
Step 2Click the "Outgoing server (SMTP) option. Select the account you want to use and press "Edit ..."
Step 3Enter "mysmtp.com" in both the "Description" and "Server Name".
In the field “Port” input “587”.
"Connection Security" is set to “STARTTLS”.
In "Authentication Method" choose "Encrypted Password"
In the "Username" enter the email address from the setup mail.
Step 4The first time mails are sent via mysmtp.com enter the password from the setup mail

Step 1Click “Account Settings...”
Step 2Under "Sending mail" enter "mysmtp.com". Next, press “Click here for advanced sending options”
Step 3Enable “Override default SMTP port” and input “587”
Enable “SMTP server requires authentication” and “Log on using”.
In “Account ID” input email from setup mail. In “Password” input password
from setup mail
Configuration of Mail Evolution
Step 1Open Mail Evolution
Step 2Click "Edit" and then "Preferences"
Step 3Click “Sending Email”
Step 4Choose your email address and then “Edit”
Step 5Under "Sending Email", select "SMTP" under "Server Type"
In the server field, enter “mysmtp.com:587”
In the "Security" field select “No encryption”
Under “Authentication” choose “PLAIN”
E-mail address is entered in the "Username" field and "Remember password" is enabled
Step 6When sending emails for the first time type the password from the setup mail in the "Enter Password" dialog box

Step 1In “SmallBusiness SMTP connector Properties” choose
“Forward all mail through this connector to the following smart hosts”
Enter “mail.mysmtp.com”
Step 2Choose “Basic authentication” in “Outbound Security” and enter the email address from setting up mail in the "User"
Password from setup mail is entered in “Password”
Step 3Select "Advanced" and enter "mysmtp.eu" in "smart host"
Step 4In “Outbound Connections” input “587” in “TCP port”
Step 5In “Outbound Security” enter the email address in "User name" and password in "Password"
Setup of Apple Mail 2016
Step 1Click “Settings” and then “Accounts”
Step 2Click “Server for outgoing post (SMTP)” and then “Edit SMTP server list”
Step 4Click “+” and then enter “mysmtp.com” in “Name of server”
Step 5Click “Advanced” and enter “587” in “Port”
Step 6Click “Authorization” and choose “Password”
Step 7In “User name” enter email address from the setup mail and password
is entered in the “Password” field
Configuration of Exchange 2007-2010
Step 1Open “Exchange Management Console”
Step 2Select "Hub Transport" under "Organization Configuration"
Right-click "Send Connector" and select "Properties"
Step 3Under "Network" select "Route mail through følgende smart hosts"
Press “Add”
Step 4Key in “mail.mysmtp.com” in “Fully qualified domain name (FQDN)” and press “OK”
Step 5Choose “Change” and then “Basic Authentification”
Choose “Basic Authentification over TLS” if greater security is desired.
Enter e-mail address from the setup mail in the "User name" field and password from the setup mail in the "Password" field
Setup of Exchange 2013
Step 1Open “Exchange admin center” and choose “mail flow” and then “send connectors”
Step 2Choose “+” and then “Route mail through smart host”
Enter “mail.mysmtp.com” in “add smart host” and then “save”
Step 3Under “Smart host authentification” choose “Basic authentification” and enable
“Offer basic authentification only after starting TLS” if increased security is wanted.
Enter email address from setup mail in “User name” and password in “Password” and then choose “next”
Step 4Choose “+” under “add domain” and then choose “SMTP” under “Type”
In “Full qualified domain name” enter “*” and “1” under “Cost”
Then choose “save”
Configuration of Sendmail
Step 1Create /etc/mail/authinfo with one line (terminate it with a line break):
AuthInfo:mysmtp.com "U:root" "I:<mysmtp.com login name>" "P:<mysmtp.com password>"
…replacing values in "< >" with you accounts values from mysmtp.com
Step 2Run makemap of this file to create a authinfo.db-file
makemap hash authinfo < authinfo
Step 3Correct your sendmail.mc-file (whatever it is called on your system). Add these lines:
define(`SMART_HOST',`[mysmtp.com]')dnl define(`RELAY_MAILER_ARGS', `TCP $h 587')dnl FEATURE(`authinfo',`hash /etc/mail/authinfo')dnl
Note: You should change this for the sendmail queue runner process, not a SMTP submit service etc.
Step 4Compile your sendmail.mc file into a sendmail.cf file.
make cf
Step 5Restart sendmail.
make restart
Also: remember to correct your SPF record and similar setups on your domains according to the setup email from mysmtp.com
